“I vant to drink your blood!”
“Oh hi, Ethel. Why are you channeling your inner vampire?”
“It’s the new book for my book club.”
“I didn’t know you were in a book club.”
“I just joined.”
“Sounds like draconian reading.”
“No silly, it’s Dracula! My new favorite author is Bram Stoker. He’s from Transylvania.”
“I’m pretty sure Bram Stoker was Irish.”
“No, I meant Dracula, he’s Transylvanian. It’s very scary, Cheryl. He goes to England because they are running out blood in Transylvania.”
“I saw the movie and I don’t exactly remember it that way, he’s spreading the undead curse.”
“Well, that too.”

The First Edition
Dear Ted,
I prefer Chaim Potok myself. Love the word play and I always enjoy a Cheryl and Ethel exchange.
Shalom,
Rochelle
Love the rapid-fire conversation! Dracula should have stuck to drinking beer. Far tastier!
