Trifextra: Week Seventy-Three: ALWAYS SOMETHING

This type of job is never easy, and certainly not fun.

The 1st time he fell off the horse.

The 2nd time the rope broke.

The 3rd time his neck snapped.

Mission accomplished.

Here’s the Trifextra Prompt… “This weekend we’re asking for 33 of your own words inspired by the idiom… third time’s the charm.”

  1. If the rope broke he should have been freed! I think that is the rule!

  2. By the third time, his heart should have given out. Lol, good job with prompt.

  3. Ah, no “third time lucky” here! Mission accomplished indeed.

  4. Oh I read it as three times, three different people. Got it right third time. Poor fella if it’s just one!

  5. Nailed it!

  6. It’s always something!! Chuckle.
Thanks for visiting my post too 🙂

  7. I love the way your mind works.

  8. that take on the prompt was as twisted as the rope in the picture. Well done. 🙂

  9. Brilliant. My dark side has been nourished this morning 🙂

  10. Way to prolong it! 🙂 Thanks for linking up.

  11. thus spaketh the hangman 🙂 well done.

  12. Ouch. Very clever.

  13. Ted, you are sooo morbid. You had me hanging there.

  14. Good thing there wasn’t a gunslinger hidden nearby ready to shoot the rope or the job would have never gotten done! (:

  15. I’d consider a career change 🙂

  16. Horseback riding lessons might have helped out here. Something to keep in mind before the next lynching? Oh, and Ted-I thought this was clever!

  17. not so lucky 3rd time!

  18. Yikes. I apparently have a gruesome sense of humor. It made me laugh.

  19. Third time probably wasn’t the charm for the man on the end of the rope… Nicely morbid take on the prompt Ted!

  20. I’m not sure your hangee felt as “charmed” as the hangman. I guess for every action, there’s an equal and opposite reaction. Well done.
